With the Caller ID feature you can know who is calling you before you answer the phone. The name of the person calling will show up on your telephone screen if the service is available in the caller's area. If not available, the phone number will show up without the name.
Caller ID with Name is enabled by default.

Does my telephone need to support Caller ID?
Yes, the telephone that you use with the Olivoice adapter should support Caller ID in order to see the number and name of the person calling you.
Will I be able to know who is calling me if the calls are from countries other than the USA and Canada?
No. However, in some cases the phone number of the person calling you will show up on your telephone screen. This depends on the ability of the telephone company of the person calling you to send us the number.
