How can I make a call from the Olivoice phone?
To make a call to the USA and Canada you must dial plus the “area code” and then the number - all 11 digits are required.
To make calls to other countries you must dial plus the country code then the number.

No, Olivoice does not support pay-per-call and other information services (900 numbers).

No, you can not accept collect calls with the Olivoice phone service.

Do I speak through my computer to use the Olivoice service?
No, you use a normal telephone to make calls rather than speaking through a computer. Please note that you need a broadband connection, whether it is DSL or Cable in addition to a phone adapter that you can get through Olivoice.
Once your Olivoice phone is installed, all you need to do is pick up the phone and dial.

How does the Olivoice sound quality compare to that of traditional phone services?
The Olivoice sound quality should be as good as that of a traditional phone service. Occasionally, sound quality might deteriorate if your broadband connection is slow or if your bandwidth is stretched with additional data (for instance, sending and receiving files from your PC simultaneously). 3-Way Calling may also cause disruptions if your upload speed is not at least 180kbps.
